San Francisco, almost! Marin Headlands, actually

Hi!

We almost made it into San Francisco! But, that was not really the plan for today, anyway! We had the afternoon and decided we really wanted to see the Golden Gate bridge, so we headed south down 101. We knew our time was limited because we did not want to get caught in traffic on the way back, but we did anyway .... but we drove through Sausalito, and went to Horseshoe Bay and the Battery there on the cliff. We drove to Marin Headlands and went to the Marine Mammal Hospital, where there was one elephant seal pup that has been there twice since April. Treated and released, then returned to the hospital underweight, and noted to have tapeworm, he is to be released again on Monday! We stopped at the National Park visitor center and received some info about the Raptor birds migration that is active in September & October. We had more stunning views of the bridge as we headed back "home".

Here are the pictures!
