San Francisco ~ Pier 39 Aquarium

So, even though VP Biden was in town, and it is the start of fleet week we went ahead and headed over the bridge! Cliff, thankfully, is not intimidated by city driving. Parking a truck with a pod on it is a bit tricky, but he made it work with only having to move it once!

We saw one of the navy ships approach and we toured Pier 39 and the Aquarium. We considered that a day well spent! Next week we will have the honor of my cousin and her husband as escorts around the city! We are super excited about that!

But, for now we were the typical tourist and here are the pictures to prove it!

there are 2 tunnels you walk through, one of the marine life found in the shallow parts of the bay and this one full of the marine life int the deepest parts of the bay, which is under the Golden Gate bridge and 300+ feet!
